Lighting
and Electrical Control
Comfort can be wired up to control lighting in the home for on/off
operation using mains rated relays. Two way switches ensure that the
user is able to manually switch the lighting at all times. Comfort
can also be integrated seamlessly
with bus-wiring |

Scene
Switches
Comfort’s range of designer Scene Switches allows control of any
scene or appliance from any room. The optional built-in Infrared
receiver allows a handheld remote control to control the whole
system, including the alarm. |

Lutron lighting systems, providing telecontrol. and a brain for the
whole system. Comfort is X10-compatible, able to send and receive
X10 commands through the power line. |

Heating
Systems
Comfort can
be connected to the storage heater so that the hot water can be
turned on before coming home.
Comfort can also be connected to Honeywell Smartfit for room and
hot water heating control. Using Time Programs, the water heaters
can be switched on and off at certain times of the day, providing
energy. |

Airconditioning |

Comfort controls airconditioners by Infrared Remote Control,
which does not require any direct connection to the electrical
circuit of the equipment and does not need interface boards from
the airconditioned manufacturer. Time programs can set
temperature at different times of day or night. |

Curtains
Curtains, drapes and awnings can be controlled by the home
automation system via telephone or Time Programs, or
automatically based on light, temperature or rain by installing
the appropriate sensors. |

Telecontrol
Press 1 for
Hall Lights, 2 for Gate, 3 for Master Bedroom Heater 4 for for
Bedroom Airconditioner, 5 for Curtain
Call home from any
telephone to arm your security system, check your appliances are
off, turn on your hot water or airconditioner, check your messages
or disarm the alarm before you come home. Comfort’s user-friendly
Voice Menu guide the user through all operations. Besides English,
other language versions are also available. |

Scene

Switch
Control
Set any scene, control any light or appliance,
even arm your security system by a press of
the button. The indicator LEDs on each
switch button show the status of the scene or
appliance. Comfort is fully compatible with
EIB (Instabus) and Clipsal C-Bus Lighting/
Electrical systems. |

Remote
Control
Use a handheld remote control like the
Philips Pronto to control the whole house.
Comfort’s keypad and Scene switches have
a built-in Infrared (IR) receiver which reads
the infrared signal and sends commands to
the various appliances connected to the
system. Infrared receivers can also be
mounted in the ceiling or in Scene Switches
in various rooms to give whole-house
coverage. |

Internet Control
The Comfort Webserver Module (CWM)
provides Internet access via a dial-up
modem without needing a PC. Any Internet
browser (Internet Explorer,
Netscape) can be used to access
the home from anywhere in the world.
Click on the web icons for lighting, airconditioning,
water heater or other appliances
to turn them on and off. |

Arm the security
system or disarm with just a click. Access is
protected by the users code. See what is
happening in the home via one or
more cameras. |

Touchscreen
Control
A wired or
wireless Touchscreen can control Comfort from anywhere in the home
(requires Comfort WebServer Module), and surf the Internet as well. |

Keypad

Use the keypad with Voice Menu to record and
playback messages, intercom with other
keypads or control the home through
the Voice menu. |
